| | DSR1000-series are designed
for use in 5.8 GHz active Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) which allows
an bi-directional communication in about 500 meter range. DSR1000HR is used in
the infrastructure Road Side Equipment (RSE) which transmits and receives the
signal to and from the On-Board Equipment (OBE) in a car for an Electronic Toll
Collection (ETC) service. DSR1000HOS is also used in the OBE. DSR1000AOS is used
in the OBE for an ad-hoc communication like an inter-vehicle communication. The
transceiver function of the products allows to be applied for Traffic Information
System (TIS), Bus Information System (BIS), etc. | | |
